I can pretty much go on and on all day, but it's still an extremely fun game to play and is definitely worth a buy. So if you use a weapon chambered in 7.62x51 and walk over a weapon chambered in 7.62x39 you get ammo for your weapon. 7.62x39 and 7.62x51 in this game is treated as just "7.62" which is definitely wrong as both calibers are drastically different. It is also stuck with using a low-capacity 20-round magazine ingame (intended for use for when the MP7 is issued as a select-fire backup weapon), instead of its.

Other issues such as after every reload, you actually pull back the charging handle even though you have a bullet in the chamber, which makes no sense. The SVG 76 (which is basically supposed to be an ak 74 since it is a soviet gun during the time of their invasion in afghanistan) is chambered in 5.56x45mm which is wrong as it should be chambered in 5.45x39 as the magazine curve is too drastic for 5.56. But alot of things, and I mean a lot, are not realistic in this game, but it's not that huge of a deal as it's still better than ghost recon wildlands.

Bullet casings eject out of the weapons, you can see the full animations for the weapons as well. There are some great realistic mechanics in play such as belt fed boxes going completely empty if you run it dry, as in the link will disappear. You can go sneaky sneak for a more rewarding effect but then you can also go all in 50 cal snipers and rpgs for a more difficult experience for a less reward- it's unintended but the fact this is a mechanic in the game it needs to be used. I've been longing to use guns without suppressors despite this being a sneaking game, you always have your loud momements and encounters- so that's the one part of the game. Somebody explain some of this to me so I fully understand the gunplay of this game and use it to my advantage. Their shots are so linear but mixed aim even after enlongated burst fire.īut when YOU shoot- even in bursts or tapping, the accuracy of your gun goes completely sideways from the muzzle, as if the bullet was exitting the gun had it's primer facing 30 degrees right. I don't remember the Soviet's going to mars and extracting kryptonite for their armor-īesides that I also think the gunplay between the NPCs and player is unrealistic too. I used a 5.56 chambered gun on one of those Armored Soviet Tachanka dudes and he took a whole magazine before the armor destroyed and he started taking damage. The soviets invading afghanistan- the relative landscape of Africa.Īll that good stuff- however the gunplay seems a little unrealistic to me. Like this game is realistic on a lot of properties.
